My Body Kick Lands Wrong Against a Southpaw

01 · The Situation

The same kick I throw to the body all the time either lands on the wrong part of them, gets caught, or misses entirely. The angle is different but I do not know how to fix it.

02 · Your Turn

Find a southpaw training partner and throw your body kick in slow motion five times. Notice where your kick is trying to land versus where it actually goes. The target has shifted because the body in front of you is a mirror image. Come back when you can feel what has changed about the angle.
