I Cannot Close Distance Without Taking a Shot First

In sparring, spend one round trying to close distance without throwing anything. No punches, no kicks — just movement and head position. Try to reach inside range using only your feet. Notice whether it is possible and what they do when you approach empty-handed. Come back when you have felt the difference between entering with and without a strike.
