My Body Kick Always Gets Checked

01 · The Situation

Every time you throw the body kick, your training partner already has their knee up. Something you are doing tells them it is coming.

02 · Your Turn

Before your next session, ask a partner to watch only your hips as you spar — not your hands, not your kick. Ask them to call out every time they see your weight shift to the kicking side before the kick leaves. Spar normally, do not change anything. Count how many times they call it. Come back with the number.
